MARINE AI ESTABLISHED IN NEW ZEALAND

Marine AI (NZ) Limited is now established in New Zealand. Based in Nelson, at the gateway to the top of the south and New Zealand’s ever important Aquaculture Industry.

Utilising experience and working knowledge from Marine AI and MSubs in Plymouth England, we will be continuing to develop and trial the proven GUARDIAN system in partnership with various NZ maritime industries and companies.

The GUARDIAN Manned solution uses the onboard AI Captain’s “foresight” to assist crew members with decision-making at sea. The system provides an enhanced assessment of navigation risk which enables the best possible lowest-risk actions to be taken.

Early 2023 will see our manned demonstration vessel fitted with the GUARDIAN system and trials commencing from Nelson.

Autumn 2023 will see delivery of our newest craft, a 5 metre Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV). This will utilise GUARDIAN Autonomy.

GUARDIAN Autonomy, as installed on the Mayflower Autonomous Vessel (mas400.com), will provide our uncrewed vessel with a COLREG-compliant fully autonomous capability that will enable us to provide a platform for continuing R&D projects across aquaculture, fisheries, marine survey, and more.

Look out for our vessels operating around Nelson Port and into Tasman Bay.
